button, The Ithica's did have a problem with jaming. I had one of the originals and on occasion it did jam. It was no big deal, just a bit frustrating. Remington now produces the mag 10. I purchsed one the first year of issue and Remington seems to have solved the issue. I shot many a round through the gun with no malfunctions. I do very little waterfoul hunting these days, but it work extremely well on turkey.
