I stay busy building more stands and box blinds, working on the hunting cabin, in the spring planting food plots etc. I stay busy all year doing something to get ready for the next season so for me the excitement never really ends. I go down to my property each weekend all winter to fill the feeders to help keep the deer alive. Alot of fair weather hunters don't site their guns in until opening day and build their stands opening weekend. For me and probebly others, hunting is a year round thing that is more than just shooting at or harvesting a deer. Thinking about hunting 365 days a year keeps me from going nuts.
