Custom 98 Mauser Caliber 35 Whelen. Bell & Carlson black synthetic stock. Flat black barrel finish. Barrel make unknown but it is superbly accurate. Used mostly to shoot lead bullets at rifle range. Tested with 250 grain jacketed bullets and they shoot more accurately than lead. Just resize 30-06 brass in 35 Whelen die and load! This has been my personal rifle for many years.
