You don't need much. Bow stringer. I like the old Bearhair rug rest. Armguard. Tab or glove, I kinda prefer a glove like the Super Glove from Alaska Bowhunting Supply. Deerhide with cordovan leather on the fingertips.:

I like that style because the fingertips can't get turned around on my fingers like the ones with individual stalls do.

String silencers... Beaverballs look really neat and traditional and might do all you need but I've had to go with spiderlegs on some bows to get all the twang shut down.
