Default RE: $100 for a drop away rest...need help

Oh, I have one of those (vital bow gear rest), but when it was made by SME. I didn't have very good luck with it. I worked all right but it didn't hold up that well and some of the screws stripped out while I was adjusting it. I also had to set my knocking point higher in order to get it to work right. They suggest your arrow be one inch above the rest when it is in the down position so it clears well. To do this I had to have my arrow above the berger buttton hole in the riser.

Other than that I kind of liked it. I still have it in my box. I feel there are better rests for the money though. I would use a good prong rest before I would use the vital bow gear rest.

Again just my opinion, but I have used that rest. Oh and the one I had used a linkage system instead of a cord, but the same operation pretty much.
