Has anybody else ever been seriously stuck in the mud out wading around in the lake? Last year, a couple buddies and I were setting up dekes and the blind and what not. I was standing in the lake in water up to my waist trying to get a couple lines untangled. When I went to move, I realized that the mud was well past my ankles. I started to panic and tried to jerk my feet out but only got in further. My friends were trying to help me but I kept sinking. The water came into my waders. About thirty minutes after it all started, I was up to my neck and thinking that I might even drown! My friends found some big logs to stand on while they started digging. That was useless so we finally got a big stick and jammed it down in the mud by my leg. We worked each leg like that for another half hour and I finally got out. Scary as hell and we were all soaked. Had to head home. The sun was up and ducks were flying around. Anyways, when I was setting up this morning, the mud was similar but I kept moving. It made me think of that incident. Has anybody else ever had a similar situation? Matt
