Default HS Strut Turkey Seat

I posted a similar response in the turkey hunting forum. Thought others might want to see my opinions on this product here in the review forum.

Got one of these a couple of years ago. They definitely work better than sitting on the ground IMO. It doesn't sink right into the ground as much as you would expect. Of course that depends on how wet the soil is. In some cases, I like having the back legs sink in a little bit. It makes the seat angle comfortable. If I scrunch down too far, I wind up putting some strain on the tailbone so I'm forced to hike back to a more upright position for awhile. Then I seem to gradually slide back down lower. I always place the longer legs toward the front to help with this.

In general, I still get a little stiff in the tail bone if I sit one way for too long. I find myself shifting every so often. It was worse before I bought the seat though so the seat does help a great deal.

The seat is definitely really light. Virtually non-existant weight. Generally speaking, it's very easy to carry via the supplied strap. If you have to duck under limbs and stuff, it can be a pain since it'll slide off your shoulder but this is a very small problem. I kinda wish the net seat was just a little more stretchy. It is slightly firm for my taste.
