That may be true to some who are used to loading an arrow along the rest past the cables.
But I have always loaded my arrows nock toward string even with a cable guard.
In reality, if you miss your first shot, how many deer are going to hang around and give you a second opportunity anyway ?
Sure, it happens on occasion but not very often.
Especially, with a wise old trophy buck.
