The other guys have just about said it all.
If you are not sruglleing drawing the bow I would leave it maxed out.
Here is a little test get a chair and sit on it lift your feet off the floor then do a 3 second draw with the bow in that I mean take 3 seconds to draw the bow back.
If you have to sky the bow or struggle to draw it then back the poundage down until you can draw the bow nice and smoothly
