Cranford Ezy Climb Rod Steps
I have used many various screw in treesteps and this review is on the rod steps by Cranford Ezy Climb. I currently use these because of the strength, sharp points which make them easy to start, and tapered screw ends that allow the step to be screwed in by hand. These steps are easily screwed into the tree all the way making the leverage very good. I have never found any to bend(carbon steel) and I have great confidence in these steps. Even occasional filing of the threads are done easily at season's end, I usually move my stands several times. The only drawback is they are a little bulky because they don't fold, and are a little heavier than most steps, but I personally prefer nonfolding steps. I give these steps a rating of 9.5 only because nothing is perfect.
