PLEASE HELP WITH DRAW LENGTH QUESTION!
Thanks to all of ya'll for your input about the Tomkat. I bought it a few days ago and like it very much. I had been shooting another bow that was my friends just for practice but I like this Tomkat alot more. It's not the fastest bow around, but with my income and being a "wet behind the ears" bowhunter I didn't want to go out and spend a whole lot without getting into the grove of things. Anyway one problem I have run into is that the good Lord did not bless me with long arms. My draw lenght is set to the shortest I can get it which is 27" and even that length is a tad bit to long but I have learn to adjust to it and I am shooting good groups. On the good side the Lord did bless me with some decent upper body strengh. I shot my bow for about 2 hours yesterday nonstop with the weight at 70lbs and it didnt phase me a bit (as far as getting tired). Since my draw length is short should I leave the weight maxed out since I loose speed because of my short DL? Thanks for any input.
