I just hung my first trail camera on Sunday. I have it somewhat elevated and pointing down at an angle toward the feeder I have out simply because the tree is to big for the strap at the level I normally would place it at to be on level with the deer. I do believe something around 3' off the ground in a level application would be best, but that is my opinion and I have never set one out before. Hopefully someone that knows something will give both of us a good educated answer.
