Who knows what the bean counters at Rem. really do with their brains when they come to work! Of course maybe they're p o at Win. for getting the jump on that cartridge family. You know 243-308-358,but Rem. is still making the 7mm08! I've own a 243, a 7mm08 & a308, i didn't buy a 260. The main reason is i have a 1916 model 96 Swedish Mauser thats sporterized.Now that old gal can put a ragged one hole at a 100 yds. off the bench. The 6.5 caliber is the best SD of them all and there isn't any game in North America that it can't harvest![&:]
