Beautiful animal! Congrats!

I can't get over the size of those northern deer. I hunted several hours north of Winnipeg in early November and saw one decent buck, looked like an 8 pointer, but decided to pass on the shot. I figured he was about 3 1/2 years old. His body was huge and probably made his antlers look smaller than they really were. I figured he'd score about 130.

When I returned home I developed the pics from my Cam-Tracker that I'd set up on a near-by scrape. Sure enough, I had him on film. He was actually a 9 pointer, but still probably in the 130 range. Of course, next year he should bigger.
