Remington CDL in Rem 280 $509.00, the scope can be anything with a good name, I have a Bushnell Banner that cost 89.00 on a 308 and would buy it again. The one thing I find disturbing in this discussion is the 1 inch groups, I have 10 Remington rifles with scopes from $89.00 to $1200.00 and only one has any gun work, they all shoot 1/2 or less groups at 100 yards, although one Remington stock had to be replaced because it was molded wrong it cost me 50.00 for a new ADL stock. Don't overlook Savage rifles, I've shot them and they shoot at least 1 inch groups. Hope this helps.
