used it on my gun and it trapped water under it and caused slight surface rust when i removed it it did leave some residue adhesive and was NOT supposed to do that --"they told me it would not do that and and and i i know they wouldnt lie to me"right"
i just flat blacked my gun with paint -i aint ever gonna part with it-its a long term relationship,an its beautiful to ME---, flat black can be removed and preserves the wood should you chose to leave it on--

as stated below--removeable camo has also been used by me and worked i just had a hard time finding it in my area[:@]
