RE: sighted in my 7mm rem mag. got a ?
I went on an elk this fall in Alberta and the outfitter told me most elk were shot within 60 yds. due to the thick cover and the rut. My 35 Whelen had been sighted for a 200 yd zero and I was curious to see where it shot at 25 and 50 yds. Surprised me to see that the bullet was right in the bullseye at both 25 and 50 yds. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same results with the 7 mag.
