I agree that the 9mm isn't in the same league (but I still wouldn't want to get shot by one), but the .40 wimpy?

Here's the ballsitics comparison of a .40 vs a .45 both in JHP Winchester White box

.40 (180gr JHP) Velocity Muz: 1010fps......50yds: 954fps
Energy Muz: 408 ft lbs.........50yds: 364 ft lbs.

.45 (230gr JHP) Velocity Muz: 880fps........50yds: 842fps
Energy Muz: 396 ft lbs.........50yds: 363 ft lbs.

Would you rather get shot by the wimpy .40?

Roger that I got the .40 and i love it...I think that .45s are overated.

just my opinion if you want REAL handgun get a .454 or .480.
