Where i have seen alot of deer this season from was the northeast corner(top left) but i really never thought of settin up in the finger there isnt much cover in there im not fur sure but i think its maybe a total of 30-40yd wide an maybe 80yd long but i think ur idea would work there. Set up in the start of the finger an have shootin lanes out into the fields an inside the finger.
