I have a sidewinder lx, I have only had it about a month. I took 2 of the pins out so know I have a total of 3. The spool of extra fibers rattled a little bit, I took the clear plastic of and used scotch tape (clear) and taped the fiber optics to the inside cylinder and then put the clear cover back on. This sigh is a grat sight and very bright, I am still experimenting with which mounting bar I like. I don't think you will be disappointed.
