Welcome aboard Ryguy----its real nice to see younger people interested in hunting and fishing. It sounds as though you are hooked,or some may call it"the fever"
Its real exciting to see deer and animals in the woods and see how they live and react to different things in the wild.I really enjoy watching squirrels in the woods, collecting food, jumping from branch to branch and fighting over food, etc.
Keep focused at what your doing in the woods and you can learn alot just by keeping your ears and eyes open.Read book, and magazines, watch videos and you will learn quite a bit as well.Good luck.Remember if you have any questions concerning hunting in general there are alot of great people here to answer any question you can throw at them.
P.S---good luck with the 4 pointer. The next time you see him and he is in range, breath slowly, put the pin where you want the arrow to connect and touch off the release very gently like you do during practice----HAVE FUN
