gselkhunter, I wasn't in the Colorado hunter magazine but it was a sister magazine for the Idaho hunter magazine in which I was affiliated with. The magazine sold and is now the trail of the sportsman. I no longer am part of it. I was just curious if you have heard of it. As far as the bowshoots. I took the Idaho state shoot last year in the bowhunter class and shot in the nw triple crown and ended up #6. I plan on changing that this year. I have been shooting in 2 different leagues this year and now have a coach. I don't have the opportunity to go to the worlds this year due to time and $ as I didn't last year. The year after this year I want to go back to see what it is like(Snowshoe Virginia). I have also been shooting some NFAA and have enjoyed that almost as the IBO. As you may already know I am divorced and my daughters live with their mother in NV. I have ALOT of extra time on my hands and I spend it hunting and shooting. It is almost the only thing that I do. I am by no means a natural archer. I used to have the worst target panic that you have ever seen. I have just been lucky(or unlucky) to have alot of time to spend on what I love. I managed to pick up two sponsors last year and hope to gain more this year. If not, I will just shoot and hunt for me. That is what it is truly about anyway. I don't like to shoot aginst other people and when I shoot a tournament, I am just trying to better myself. When is the Colorado state shoot. I might think about coming down and checking it out.
