i have never used a string loop, and have never worn out a string , but if i did the cost of a new string 2 or 3 years down the line would not prevent me from getting what i want .
if you "want" a string loop, get 1 but IMHO, get the bow you want and skip it , and in a few years you could always up grade again

I think you could probably get BassPro to order you just about anything , question is are you willing to wait, i have never been to their shop so i could be wrong.
