WD-40
I've seen my trap buddies spraying their guns down, chamber, bore, the whole thing with wd-40 right after our rounds are finished. It blasts the black gunk right out of them. My question is this: Is WD-40 heavy enought for this purpose? Is it really cleaning the gun? Anybody else use this stuff to clean their guns?
What I'm thinking is spray the chamber and bore with WD-40, heavily, let sit for a few minutes and then run the BoreSnake through it. Sound effective?
