PA does require a FLINTLOCK. You must use a min. .45cal. You are not allowed scopes, But you can use Fiber optic INSERT on your IRON sights. Also you are allowed to use conical style,sabots, and roundballs. Each year they come out with new Regs. so be sure to check your PA hunting book before heading out. PA flintlock hunter for the pAst 5 years. By the way I recommend the PA Hunter oct. to round barrell style (1:66 twist) reliable and accurate, not the carbine Pa hunter, that is the new style one. It might be great it just seems like a waste to pay more for a less accurate MZLDR'
