Great price on the Black Diamond at Wallmart!

Off topic of the original bulletin and subject which was a great deal on ML gear...
Well, I usually always try to get the best deal I can, although I never shop at Wallmart for personal reasons.

However, I also try to steer my business to the Mom & Pop stores. I don't expect them to compete fully price-wise as they cannot negotiate the wholesale volumes as the large chains, but I do expect them to make an effort to offer a reasonable price and still make a fair profit.

If the smaller shop will make the effort to deal reasonably, then they will not only get my business but my trust as well.

Sometimes on big ticket items the cost savings are such that you just cannot afford not to buy at the bigger chains as was the case on a recent scope I pruchased.
