RE: Anybody own a Kimber?
Why buy a Corvette rather than a Camaro? Both are fast and have similar features but one costs more. A Corvette has slightly better performance and more prestige, the buyer must really appreciate those qualities to justify the expense.
If we are compairing MOA, the Kimber will print a 1/4 MOA @ 100 yards measuring with a 3 shot group.
It is true that factory rifles have steadily improved in preformance which has put the heat on custom gun builders. 15 years ago we wouldn't be having this conversation because an average production rifle was considered excellent if it held 1 MOA or slightly better @ 100 yards.
