there is nothing better than chukar hunting to me. hunted the snake river breaks like crazy when i went to WSU. also hunted the grande ronde. was dogless then, usually alone save for a few times. miss it terribly. i really got to know them by the time i graduated. beautiful country no doubt. hard hunting though. we could put in a 10 hour hunt for one or two or no birds. the grand ronde was especially rough, but no shortage of birds.
