I've owned 5 model 700's , all BDL's as I'm a lefty. The newest is a short action .243 purchased about 2 months ago. It's fine for it's intended purpose. As usual the trigger was atrocious. My complaint is Big Green claims they cater to the lefty crowd and I guess they do as long as you want a .270, '06, 7 mag or 300 mag. Now...the only stainless offered is in the UM cartridges. What's up with that? I have a Browning Stainless Stalker coming as I sit here and complain about the Green Monster. I like Remington b/c of the available aftermarket accessories for left-hand rifles....stocks, etc. But still not as accurate as my Medallions....sorry Remington.
