You could try planting some type of clover along with the corn but,If the land beside you has more areas for the deer to hide and bed you may find it difficult to keep them on your land for any length of time.I would try
Bird's-foot trefoil adjacent to the corn.You will then have protein from the
trefoil and carbohydrates from the corn for fat and warmth.
