Maybe this all boils down as to whether a crossbow is more like a bow and arrow or a gun. I personally feel it is more like a gun, hence let them (anyone, not just somebody with a disability) shoot them during the gun/primitive season.
Then prove it. Just having a belief for the heck of it don't old much water when laws are trying to be passed !
To me the fact that the hunter has to draw the bow and shoot makes the difference in hunting with a crossbow during archey season the issue.
What do you mean "draw" ??? You mean the physical act of drawing ? A 99% letoff bow is cool then ? Maybe a hybrid draw lock that would allow holding a bow for 5 minutes ? Is it a violation of "drawing the bow" if I can hold a compound for 2 minutes ? 3 minutes ? Please clarify
rcd567 - you get it
We also do not allow any sort of draw lok or anything else capable of holding the bow at full draw.
You do know mechanical releases were outlawed for the longest time, right ? Based on that very same sentence !
