Whatever floats your boat. I hunt Iowa where everyone seems to want to hunt. Most deer are shot during the silly season (firearms). Which means shotgun, muzzleloader. Would I like the state to allow crossbows during archery season? Sure, if it brought more people into hunting. That's the only way hunting will continue into the future.

Besides, most of the anti crossbow'rs haven't even tried it. I have to agree with Arthur P, it's not much differant than with a compound, sights, release, high let off, ect.

I've been around this sport a long time. Reminds me of the arguments between the "new" compound bows and recurve shooters.[:'(]
