RE: How to tan a hide
I did alot of research on this. I was going to buy the kit and all. But I just couldn't the time, and really noticed you need the equipment. Like a flesher. Not an easy way to do it by hand. I found a few tannerys that will do a hide for me for $65 if I drop it off.
You got to flesh it, then pickle it, and it swells, and then flesh it again. You do this a few this a few times and then tan it.
