Yew or black walnut for the limbs--light mass weight, great recovery, durable. Downside--yew isn't always the fanciest wood, and dark woods like black walnut will show flaws in the glass more. Veneer will remedy either one.

Riser wood--I like cocobolo, chechen, Bolivian rosewood--heavy woods, if the bow has a smaller riser, for stability. Down side--they cost more.
