Mine are 4.2", I cut and ball the ends first, it is about the smallest size that you can actualy tie on (my stuff is about 1/8&quot, but once everything is seated, there is plenty of room. I don't have any nocks within the loop, which I guess is a factor for some.

As I have said before, I don't use them any more.
