So how many of you that think the yearling fawn is the easiest to kill actually shoot them? Atlasman said he is after the first legal deer that he has a tag for, does that include these yearlings that are so easy to kill? Just curious.
Yes.

The doe I shot with my gun with my gun opening day was 6 months old.........and she was sniffing the 1 1/2 year old buck I shot 25 minutes earlier

If I have a tag for it..........it's a shooter.

I shot the first buck that offered me a chance in archery (6 pt)
I shot the first buck I saw with gun (4 pt)
I shot the first and second does I saw with gun

Every legal chance I have had to take a deer this year I have done so.

I could have taken more but in some cases I had no tags left
