Well guys, I was out busting my a** looking for a deer last week, any legal one would do. After seeing only a couple of does tearing a** through the rhodos each day, on public land, not managed specifically for deer, ie. no food plots in my back yard, I decided to move across the powerline on Thursday afternoon. So instead of 1 and 1/4 miles back, I was a full 1 and 1/2 miles back. This doe and another came out of the rhodos for a look see, and I decided to do my part for Dr Alt and HR and pop one. It was a full 85 lbs, dressed weight. I used my Ruger #1 to do it.
