Default RE: Recommendations on 1X scope

My scope is a Simmons ProHunter® Shotgun Scope 1x32(Truplex). Simmons is dicontinuing this scope, so they are going for sale prices on the internet.

Got mine thru cabelas, it was on clearance for $64. I then found 2 more on ebay for $25 a piece!![]

It works good. When ya get it mounted, you can see the barrel while looking thru the scope all the time. The max I could sight it in for was 70 yards, and that is streching the limits! Real good at 50 yards or less!

Another thing is that the scope is very short, so you will want to mount it on a rail, so you can move the scope back as far as ya can. As to get proper eye relief.

But the Omega should mount just fine on the Weaver 410 Omega rail mount.

The newer red dot scopes also need a rail IMO.

I hope this helps.

In His Service,

Lane
