My dad shot one years ago through the guts and seen the deer a week later. He said it looked to be healthy. It was grassing and carrying on like nothing was wrong. Needless to say he never got another shot at it! I'm not sure how it ended up in the end, but if it lasted a week I think it had a chance of surviving!
