For a 270, I only like 4350. It really reaches the potenial. I have used Varget and IMR4064, but velocity was dismal. I mean I get 2850fps from max loads of both with 130gr bullet. Re22 and H1000, gets you up to the speed, but sometimes guns don't like it. Its worth trying.

As for brass. I fortunatly had a buddy with a boatload of once fired Federal brass for 270. Its the most uniform I can find. Winchester nickel second, and remington on the bottom of the heap.
