I spotted this buck as I was walking to my stand around 2 pm after Thanksgiving dinner. I caught him grooming himself, and fired one shot; hit him right through the front left shoulder and exited just behind the right front shoulder. Not a bad buck just for walking in. Interesting note, my taxidermist wanted the cape because I'm having a European mount done, but his skull was literally lopsided....very wierd.
