Ok...baiting is probably illegal in just about all places, to some degree...BUT,

Has anyone come up with their own homemade concoction, deer lick, mineral lick, etc...anything other than a food plot....just to increase the number of deer, and quality of deer they see on their property? I can honestly say that I have no intention of hunting over such lures. The private property that I hunt has become a little slow since the start of the rut and rifle season, matter of fact, I don't think I've seen anything since late mid-October (partly because I don't visit the property very often - hour and a half away from home). The property owner is up for anything to see the deer around more often, as he has noticed the decline of activity, too. Land consists of 35 acres, 12 of which is allocated as a horse pasture...the rest is wooded to heavily wooded.

Anybody have their own recipe? And who is willing to share?
