Man we shot up some ducks down in south Louisiana the first split. We didn't have many mallards but we had all ya could shoot ringnecks, teal, with a few gadwalls, widgeon and a stray canvasback(guess he was lost). We limited out every hunt except for 1. That's 10 hunts 66 ducks and god only knows how many coots we shot up(yes we eat those down south) if you ever it a coot(Peau Deau) pronounced (pull dew) gumbo you will give all the ducks away and just keep the coots. Well good luck and bring on the cold weather Yankees. Us cajuns sure would like to put away our shorts and get in our gore-tex. We are located about 50 miles west of New Orleans.
