I'm reloading 3006's for the first time,
I'm going with 49gr of imr 4350 with 150gr points
and I notice that the powder came up in to the neck of the cases just a little ways, well I went ahead and seated the points and for some reason I shuck them and I couldn't hear the powder shake....... So I'm maybe parodied but this is the first rifle shells that I've shuck that I couldn't hear the powder shaking in them, So is this something to wary about or not ?
I've reloaded other rifle shells before and could allways hear the powder in side.
PLEASE tell me you've started with a reduced load and are working your way up to a the MAX load. You make it sound like you just picked the MAX or near Max load and loaded up the rounds, which is a potential recipe for DISASTER! If this is what you've done, STOP! Pull the bullets and start over from a 10% reduced load and work up slowly. Usually the most accurate load is found between somewhere before the MAX. At the very least, you'll be safe.
