RE: What has bow hunting taught you besides bow hunting?
I learned that no matter how much dough you spend, there's always someting else you want..........I mean need.
I learned that if you forget something in the truck, you'll need it while you're out in the woods.
I learned to carry 2 flashlights, because new batteries don't fix a bad bulb.
You can never have to many pairs of boots..........or treestands.
I learned if you are very patient, sooner or later, you will get rained on. I also learned not to laugh at the guy with the camo umbrella hanging over his head. Best money he probably ever spent.
I learned that a set of electric boot dryers are an amazing thing to own when you hunt several days in a row.
I learned that a broadhead will cut your bowstring in the dark.
And lastly, the 2 most important things that I have personally learned: if you're 5 minutes late getting to your stand, there WILL be deer under it; and secondly, if you climb down 5 minutes early, deer that you didn't see will magically appear and then run away.
