Default RE: PA Hunters complain too much!

I am a die hard archery hunter. I have 2 p&y and about 6 other bucks 3.5 or older and numerous 2.5s I am self employed and have hunted over 50 days each of the the past 4 seasons and have hunted deer since 1977. I can tell you that on public land the last 4 years in pa I have not seen a buck! Have seen and killed big deer with bow on private in MD and PA..
Its not about skill dude! Granted I only hunt public ground in Pa because it close to my house and it's a beautiful area, and a change of pace. I lease and oversee 2 farms with 800 acres in MD, where we practice QDM, using as a guide the Charles Altzheimer book. I also give advice to farmer friends in MD who own another 1000acres.

I had high hopes for Pa. I am sincerely hoping other states will imitate them. But the wanton slaughter on public lands in pa is not neccesary. We well below carrying capacity on these lands.. There are less mature bucks PSM than before. because so few fawns survive and so few does to have more... Unless you are traveling and hunting different types of areas within this state, you just dont know...
