My deer season was full of promise but turned out to be a bust in terms of tagging a wall hanger. I can't call it unsuccessful seeing some really good deer and harvesting 1 wt doe and 2 Mulie Does in october, before taking a morfed wt buck on my last outing. The deer was past prime but has some character and fills the jerky need! He has a decent right side with a long beam but his left is wonky which includes a small crab claw coming out front. He was above average in body size but had walked with a hobble after suffering some battle scars to his front shoulders from fighting. I took him with my 50 cal ML in the SMZ -250gr SST @ 75 yards.
