We are planning a "budget" bow-hunting trip for next fall - trophy potential area, but not necessarily record book bucks. If you don't mind sharing your state's public land potential, I would certainly appreciate it.

For example, here in Alabama we have excellent public opportunities with very liberal bag limits - but the "trophy" bucks will be in the 130-140 class. We have alot of deer, but they are not huge. Out-of-state licenses are reasonably priced and available otc. The weather in the fall is usally low 70s for the high, so you might have to contend with misquitos, depending on the area you hunt.
