Same thing here. The 130 grain core lokts will consistantly print under an inch out of my .270 Win.

Regular ole plane Jane bullets will ususally group tighter than all of the bullets with "stuff" inside them like partitions, steel cups, bonding, etc. They are just easier to get the tollerances better when you don't have all of theat "stuff" in there. Just look at a "match" grade bullet, it is a regular lead core with a thin jacket around it.
