corelokts
After seeing all the controversies unfold about the cheap remington loads,i just had to through in my two cents. Last years bought a remington 700 VS in 22-250. Fantasic gun, comes complete with hs precision stock, heavy barrel, etc. Problem with a gun like that (other than the extra weight) is that it is hard to find a bullet that can shoot as good as it can. After shooting nearly every type of factory ammo out there including winchester, hornady, federal, and even a few handloads, the only bullet that shot exceptionally well was the "corejunks!" in fact, second best load through that gun was the federal premium BTHP. After trying this same thing in some of my other guns, i also realized that this was true in some of my other small caliber guns. I now shoot "corejunks" in my .223 and 25-06.
